This article explains how to connect the Dynamic GMC Front and Rear LED Emblem.
Please note for the order of the installation: you should install the GMC lettering first, then you can connect the wire. If you connect the wire first and then install the GMC lettering, you need to reroute the wire when you install the GMC lettering.
To connect the GMC Front LED Emblem:
Start with the GMC Front LED Emblem.
There are two types of wiring: three-wire and four-wire.
Connect the three-wire plug to the three-wire connection.
Connect the four-wire plug to the four-wire connection.
Which app do you need to download?
No matter if you use an iPhone or Android, you can search for the app called ZENGGE . Download it, as you need to use this app to control the front LED emblem. To use Bluetooth, you need to connect the LED emblem to the app, and then you can control it.
How to connect the GMC Front LED Emblem to your car:
There are two wires that need to connect to your car: the red wire and the black wire.
Connection Methods:
Method One:
- Connect the red wire to the daytime running wire (+).
- Connect the black wire to the grounding.
- When you press your car’s key, it will light up with the animation and color you set before.
Method Two:
- Connect the red wire to the fuse box.
- Connect the black wire to the grounding.
- When you start your car, it will light up with the animation and color you set before.
To connect the GMC Rear LED Emblem:
The rear LED emblem lights up directly and doesn’t use any app to control it.
Two wires need to be connected to your car: the red wire and the black wire.
- Connect the red wire to the daytime running wire (+) or the license plate light (+).
- Connect the black wire to the grounding.
