Differences Between 1^st and 2^nd Generation Cadillac LED Emblem

Light Show

The differences in the light show between the two generations are mainly the speed. The 1^st Generation lights up diagonally and flashes different patterns when turned on, all at a fast pace. Finishing by illuminating the whole badge from the center outwards.

The 2^nd generation illuminates with each LED acting like a step from left to right, before illuminating the whole center of the badge and then the surround, it does it much more elegantly than the first generation.

The 2^nd generation adds an aluminum plate to its construction, making it a sturdier product, and weighs in at 298.5 grams.
